BMSB Season Commences 1 September 2020

The Brown Marmorated Stink Bug (BMSB) has become Australia’s number one seasonal “hitchhiker” pest and poses a significant risk to Australia’s biosecurity. Each year, the Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment imposes strict regulations to prevent the BMSB’s presence in Australia, with a failure to comply resulting in costly delays, and possible re-export or destruction of cargo.

We are up to date and experienced with the latest requirements for imports to Australia during BMSB season. Please contact us today for advice and guidance on importing during this risk season.

Since the nature of the threat of BMSB is ever changing it is always best to consult the Departments BMSB measures guidelines on their webpage for the most up to date information.
